I’ve been working on Christmas presents for my family since August – and not making very good progress, so far. I had to rip out the pair of socks I’m knitting about halfway back to the beginning. It was very frustrating. So, I decided to change tacks and do some crocheting. I was going to make baby socks for my little guy, but then I decided that socks are for everyday, Christmas presents should be something he can play with and enjoy! I had a few ideas in my head, which turned into other ideas as I was working – I’m sure at least some of you out there know how that goes! So, here are the first two that I came up with.

The bear crinkles when you squish (or chew on) it and the blue toy rattles.
I’m planning a few minor adjustments to the bear design. I’m going to make a few more of those – as many as I can with that yarn, then we’ll see what else I have in my stash! My stash has been growing, lately, so it’s time to start some small projects like these.
